Great service experience!
Well, It had come time for my car to receive it's first complimentary oil change at the dealer, and being that I live over an hour away from the dealer I brought my list of little things that I wanted to have taken care of with the car. I had a laundry list of small little things that I needed attacked before I took it back home and the dealer did them all in the course of 3 days!
I had the oil changed- tires rotated, tires re-roadforce balanced (lost a weight) trunk struts replaced, passenger mirror replaced, seat track realigned, sunroof and center console rattle taken care of, and also had my drivers side window realigned to get rid of the chattering. they even touched up the paint around the center caps on all my rims! finished it all up with a wash too. Not bad....
I wonder if I will be this happy when I go there and start having to shell obscene amounts of money. At least I get a turkey sandwich in the waiting room.
*if you have the dreaded window chatter and have tried lubricating the seals and it is still there- you need a window alignment!

O.k., gotta ask - 3 days to finish your laundry list? Glad they made you happy but seems like an awful long time to me ...

Which dealer was this???? They never do things like that where im from, and I cant be too far away from that dealer......haha
I agree. Lexus dealers generally care about making you happy in terms of service.
The last oil change I got they actually tried to charge me for 12 quarts of oil. I objected and the "dipstick" behind the payment counter tried to tell me that the number 12 on the invoice next to oil quarts did not mean quarts and that is was normal to be charged 108 dollars just for the oil in an oil change. I had to get the service manager involved to resolve - she looked at the invoice for a minute and admitted there was a mistake. It annoyed me because there was no apology and if my wife had been there alone she would have just paid the invoice. Anyway a week later comes the Lexus survey form and I filled it out and related the mistake and the crappy way it was handled by dealer service folks and sent it in. Two weeks later I get a call from the service writer with a nice apology and an offer of a free synthetic oil change next time I need an oil change (to make up for the hassle of the last oil change). Moral of the story - use the survey form to tell them they did fine or tell them they hosed something up - it really works. They seem genuinely concerned about bad survey forms that get sent to the Lexus mothership.
