Recently i notice the aim of headlights are pointing more downward than normal. Noticed it when i was riding on a dark road. Usually after start-up, the lights will adjust down then back up. Now they go down, up, then back down to a lower setting. I can still tell that the system is working because i see them adjusting while im driving. My Headlights normally would light up the whole road without the high beams but now thats not the case. Im thinking that is has something to do with the weight of the sub box i recently added to my system and also if the bass could be affecting the sensors so i removed the box today and will see if that makes a difference tonight. But if not, could it bad sensor/s or ECU? If so, are they located in a spot thats easily accessible? Need help! I want my aim back!!!!!
You can reaim the system by adjusting the sensor behind the drivers side rear wheel. It sure beats having to readjust the aim individually on the lenses. Sometimes the sensor becomes lose, and a readjustment is needed.
Once you ease the bolt on the slider, moving it up or down will immediately effect the aiming, so you want to move it SLIGHTLY to re aim your headlights.
Thanks Grand! I'll try it this weekend and see what happens. I did take the sub box out of the trunk but it still is pointing downward slightly.Really do think that the vibration from the sub lead to its misalignment. thanks for answering.

It could be from the sub, or other factors. I notice slight variations on mine from time to time since the different variables of the systems differ slightly over a long period of time.

Hey Grand! I was able to locate the sensor and attempted to adjust it but to no avail. From my understanding while adjusting the sensor, i'll supposed to be able to actually see the lights adjust up and down? Attempted but saw no movement unless i did something wrong. I also noticed yesterday eve that the lights temporarily reverted back to there correct height for the duration of a quick ride home from an errand. When i left back out that night, they were out of adjustment again and continues to remain that way. Bad sensor you think or should i try to adjust again? What steps did you take to adjust yours when you did? And also if the sensor is bad, is replacement a simple plug and play? Thank.
