so i got the infamous check pcs error message. i unhooked the negative battery terminal for 30+ mins to restart the cars computer. i started the car with the hood up and error is still there. i even took the time to plast-x the little plastic window but the errors are still there and i'm confident its not cuz the window is dirty. i do not want to pay 1,000 to fix this.
is there a way to just disable the pcs all together? the only way i can use my cruise now is to turn it on before i put it in D and then disable the radar cruise but if you start driving off before you do this you cannot use the cruise at all while in motion.
i never used the radar cruise anyways so how can i just straight disable that whole system so at to not have to pay 1,000+ and still be able to use my cruise when i feel like it?? thanks,

I drove around like that for a few weeks. It pissed me off everytime i drove that car! Plus you get the warning bell reminder alert after about 10min of driving. The Denso sensor ECU is a POS (excuse me). But this problem is faulty electronics.
