Default Ls1500 / ls150?

I stopped at Home Depot on the way home this afternoon to pick up some supplies for my son-in-law to work on my deck next week. With the rear seat pass-thru open, a 5/4" x 6" x 8 foot cedar deck board fit with no problem. The trunk closed and the board never touched anything in the interior of the car. Heck, it fit better than it would have in my Dakota's 72" bed.

We better not let the truck crowd know about this, or we'll be seeing a whole bunch of LS430's at the construction sites hauling stuff...

LOL There's a retired gentleman in our neighborhood who always has two older Cadillacs or Lincolns The newer car is his daily driver that he and his wife take to Florida in the winter. The older car is his "truck" that he leaves here. He seals driveways for people and the trunk of his "truck" is full of his tools, boots, and buckets of sealer. My adult kids used to yell at me when I hired him to seal my driveway - like I was hastening his demise by forcing him to work in the heat.

Actually it's meant for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Yeah, I knew the 1500 was for some GM truck, just did not know the official name of it. The F-series by Ford is all I could remember... No love for the Ram here...
