The puddle lamps on my '06 430 CL come on when I unlock the doors by pressing the button my fob. They do not come on when I unlock the door via the door handle sensor with the fob in my pocket. When I do that, only the interior lights come on. Is this normal to have no puddle lights unless the remote is used?

 

They should turn on as soon as you get closer in proximity to the car.

 

Hmmmm that is different, I can make mine come on ever time I hit the unlock button in when in park.

 

Mine come on once I get within maybe 1.5m of the DS mirror.
