Default First Time Lexus Owner

On 2nd of January, I set out to finally purchase the 'car of my dreams' -- a 2008 Cadillace DTC Performance edition. Thankfully, Lund Cadillac did not want to negotiate the price (they though it was worth $41,900 and weren't wiling to budge).

Later the same day, I wandered into Scottsdale Lexus and purchased a 2005 LS430 CPO CL; a superior automobile (and sales experience).

I am absolutely amazed at this automobile. I've never driven anything this amazing.

This purchase also means I have now driven every Toyota line.

Thank you to all of you for your great posts... I've learned more about my LS tonight reading posts that I have in the 3 weeks I've owned her.

Nice pick, and welcome to the gang. You mentioned CL, but this doesn't look like a Custom Luxury trim to me. No headlamp washer switch and center console doesn't look leather. good pick nonetheless... modern luxury I would say. Hope you didn't pay for a Custom.

Oops... still a newbie learning my trim levels.

Yes... modern luxury it is. And only 40k miles... rides like a cream puff.

Cream puff, more like cloud nine... I'm surprised I haven't fallen asleep behind the wheels. Love the car, but so boring... ha ha, just the way I like my super luxo vehicles.

Good to see someone bought that one. Congrats and enjoy. (Yes, I follow all silver and flint cars for sale around the country.)

BTW, I like your garage - finished walls and U-Coat floor. I've never seen a ceiling fan in a garage before - interesting concept. I don't know if I could live with a front-to-back setup, though.

Welcome to the group. Nice car. You entire post is testament to why Cadillac has become an insignificant brand.

Congrats and welcome to the Lexus group. My 04 looks like yours except I have the UL. I couldn't be happier with my car and know you will be too.

I also live in the Phoenix area.

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. Except for the wheels being chrome, we have the exact same car dude. I think its the best LS color but the others wont agree with me LOL. As you will find out this car will never show any dirt so you'll have to wash it once or twice a week to make sure its clean. Also, Mercury Metallic really shows off at night under street lights. Congrats and welcome to CL!
