2004 ML or 2005 UL
I cant decide between 2004 ML with 71k for 18.5k or a 2005 UL with 63k for 22.5k.
I really like the color of the 2004, and can live with the Silver of the 2005 it has tan interior which I'm not fond us, but thought with less miles and more options what the heck.
Not sure if I should spend the extra 4k. Do you think it will matter in 3 or 4 years about the options and about 8k in miles to warrant the price difference?
Thanks in advance.

For me 8k is more than I drive in a year so it would matter to me. It all depends on how many miles you drive per year- if you drive 30k a year an 8k delta should not matter much at all. If you drive 5-6 k a year like me that 8k is significant. The $4,000 diff in initial cost in a few years won't seem like much money - get the car you want and like best assuming it fits your budget. Id also get the car with the best service record. Getting a car that was very well taken car of is critical to me.

You'll love the fact that this color always stays clean.

For the record, it's ECRU interior just in case you ever want to order any interior parts to make sure it matches properly

Advice: i would invest in some type of covers at least for the front two seats and stock up on some leather cleaner and conditioner. Had a Lincoln Continential that had seats the color of butter. No Lie! At least once every two weeks i was cleaning and applying conditioner to them. May not have to be as frequently as i was but to keep them in good condition, i would definately stay on top of keeping them clean. Also color-fast jeans are light-colored leather's worst nightmare. Trust me.
I just can't imagine covering up the quality leather seats in a Lexus with some cheap cover. Reminds me of the clear vinyl seat cover that were used in the 50s when the manufacturers replaced tan and grey cloth seats. People didn't know what to do.
