ls430 headlights interchangeable?

Can you purchase the projector headlights from the 2004+ ls430 and put them into the 2003 model?

If you mean just the projector, then I'm not sure. If you mean the whole assembly, the assembly is different shape so you can't just remove and pop in the new one. I'm sure the wiring would be different too, depending on if you're going from HID to HID or not.

all 430's come standards with HID lighting.

You can not change the head lights between 01-03's & 04+. The head light is a different shape, as well as the surrounding body panels, bumper, and hood. There is a conversion you can do to change the front end of the car, but your better off just selling it and buying a new model then paying for the conversion and the risk that comes with it.

There was someone that put the 04+ tail lights on their car with out doing the conversion. I don't think they fit as they were suppose to, but it apparently worked.

I think the outer lights might be the same shape, but that inner light would probably fit with a super wide gap. Wonder if a trunk swap would just be a direct replace, or if the shape has changed too.

Wow, subtle changes but if you look carefully, plenty of changes to make the old pieces not fit the new pieces and vice-versa.

My girlfriend's dad has an 05 LS430 that does NOT have projectors.

I have an 01 LS430 would like to change the outer (on 1/4 panel) tail-lights to 04-06 model with clear lens in the middle does anyone know for Sure if they would fit without any adjustments???

I will take a picture. I promise you though, i have ls430 projectors so I know what to look for. There are none on her dad's car. He does have HID though.

I think I remember in teh conversion threads, that the bumper also needs to be switched when the trunk is done.
