q45 or ls430 head lights
where do you get the q45 headlights and do they put off better light than the oems with an hid kit? also is puting ls430 projector lights better if so do i have to buy the hole housing?

You're on the right track looking into a retrofit! The short answer is that the LS430's are the best output of any projectors you can get. The output of the Q45's would be better than a plug and play kit in the stock reflectors, although the LS430's output and beam pattern is superior to the Q45's.
Most people look for projectors on Ebay or at one of the HID forums, they're usually scavenged from junkyards and the like and are much cheaper than buying the entire housing.
Try searching in the Lighting section for more info. on these projectors and retrofitting, if you still have questions after you've read up there's some very knowledgeable people in that section that would be happy to help!

I have to agree. The Q45's is much better than stock and look fantastic but the LS430 is far superior in quality. But the Q's just look crazy funky.. Not a bad choice either way..

what do the ls 430's retrofit look like... don't think i've ever seen them... what is the price range we're talking for someone to get some + install???

I believe HID planet charges ~$120 for install. Q45 projectors run about $200 bucks + shipping on ebay:

Be very very careful buying from ebay. Q45 projectors DO NOT COST $200.00 for a set.. The ones on ebay are China made.....FAKE
Real Infiniti Q45 projectors cost up to 700.00 new each side. Used they can go for from $400.00-$700.00 for both. One way to tell a fake is that real Q45 say "Made in Germany" The fake ones don't say anything on the face. The light output on the fake ones is almost like a reg factory non hid lens. I'm sure you can find many stories on how to point out a fake on HID planet..
