Nope, but interesting to hear from others on it. Don't know if this the problem, but I've noticed that when I slow down to about 10 mph or under, but then I need to gun it to speed up... the car hesitates and doesn't respond immediately. I've found that dangerous in some situations (like merging into traffic).

I would imagine call corporate and they'd be able to tell you.

Never went to turn a corner and have it rev up to about 2000rpm then shift?

I'm actually at the dealership getting the "firmware" updated now.
It did rev above passed 2k. It's kinda hard to replicate this issue.

THey upgraded the "firmware" for me. I think the transmission is shifting a smoother now.
Didn't have to pay for it. I called Lexus Corp and ask them to see if they can do a goodwill repair on it since my vehicle is only 5 years old.

So did you have the slow downshift problem and now it's solved, or you haven't replicated the situation yet? I'd like to get mine done if it's a true fix for my issue... or if it's just an issue I have to live with...

I'm getting the firmware upgrade this week for my "new" 2004 CL.
The dealer is charging me one hour labor.

He told you that he has it available? Most of them are not even aware of this TSB (update)

Apparently. I said I want the TC006-04 / shift pattern update. He punched his keyboard then told me so you don’t like how the transmission behaves at slow speed? And gave me an appointment.
