Default 7-series or ls430ul

I've been in search of a 04-06ls430ul for awhile now and have not been successful. I'm thinking about a 06 750li instead now. Anybody have any pro and cons of the 7 series?

Long term= LS.

Short term=7 series. If long term, get extended extended extended+maintenance warranty. Well worth it. Excellent on corners, not on pocketbook

I like both luxobarge, but prefer the look of the 05> 7 series

as far a luxury is concerned lexus ls ul trumps 7 series. plus there is the reliability factor. you would have to have an extended warrenty for the entire life of the vehicle. my friend who has a 7 did not extend his warrenty and is now regretting it dearly. Be patient.....a ul will pop up soon. i had to search for 3 months to find mine and it was well worth the wait!

It is a catch 22. I went through this when I bought my LS430 CL.

You should buy warranty if it is a 7 series, but then 7 series warranty is $5500 vs $2500 for LS430, and then you buy LS430, but then you already bought the most reliable car so why buy warranty, so you, on top of piece of mind, save $5500.

750Li is a great car!

I love the look of both cars. They are both beautifully made, but as far as reliability, Lexus takes it hands down.

Go with what YOU want! Life is to short, so go for it if you want the BMW! You can always come back to Lexus after you experience BMW for yourself buddy!!! You may like BMW and have a good experience! I hope the best and not the worst for YOU!! Go for it and enjoy the BMW if YOU decide to go that way! Were mostly biased on this site so I would suggest going to get advice from a non-Lexus affiliated site. Most here will say get the Lexus so its hard to get an honest unbiased opinion. All The Best!!! L.G.N.M

I have both an '02 LS430 and an '07 750i: The 430 is the quietest, smoothest ride I've ever had BUT it has no SOUL. The 7 Series, on the other hand is a great car to drive if you ENJOY driving; it gets your blood pumping. The long term ownership costs of the 7 Series will be much greater however - BMWs should be traded shortly after the warranty expires.

I've heard great things about both, but as far as cost of ownership goes, it seems that a lot of people won't touch the 7-series with a 10 foot stick.

As my username suggests, I went for BMW before coming to Lexus.

both are great cars. Lexus has a higher resale value. BMW has a stronger connection between driver and car. At the end, it's just material junk.. another item you own under your roof.

If i had to choose it would be option C. Supercharged E55. The 750li has minors kinks. If you are buying CPOed then its fine If not. stay away, as the maintenance costs are quite expensive. The LS430 is nice, but try something new. You may enjoy something a bit different from the crowd. Test drive them all and join the forums and talk to some of the members about there cars.
