2001 LS430 side mirror replacement, what years can you use?

2001 LS430 side mirror replacement, what years can you use?
the drivers side mirror needs to be replaced. i found a 2004 mirror, same color. is the harness compatible, plug and play from 01 to 04?

Online OEM sites have the housing listed as '01-'03 and another for '04-'06 so I think the design of the housing is definitely different somewhat, so they may not match in look to the other mirror. As for fit and finish, I would say to be safe, buy the same year range that fits your vehicle.

i am moreso concerned about the wiring harness matching up, plug and play.
has anyone done a DIY on mirror replacement. i searched thread a bit, to no avail.
there is a screw that is visible from inside of cabin, door vacuum area. seriously doubt one screw holds the assembly on.
