Default aftermarket sound system...

i was wondering if any aftermarket sound system will work with the factory controls on the steering wheel?

You might search the forums.

You can add an amp and sub to your system and still use all of the controls.

yeah but what about an aftermarket deck?

ask a stereo shop, i have had them work in the past (different vehicles, different decks, different steering wheel controls) and not work in the past. i think it depends on the know how of the shop as well as picking a deck that will be compatible. just be glad its not the bmw idrive system

If you have a Navi Unit, Good Luck. If you have just a radio, then you should be fine to use most aftermarket decks. Just ask your local install shop. Anything is possible with them.

i believe the pac interface steering wheel control module should work. never tried. might hit up samson for this...once the mod bug starts biting me again.
