i had just recently bought a 2004 gs300 with an aftermarket radio. the thing is that i don't know if it had a bose sound system or not. even the dealership don't even know about it. please help me out

 

if it's aftermarket, how would we know? IMO -

1. look for a brand name on the head unit (sorry for stating the obvious).
2. if that fails, take it to a car-radio-install place and ask them to help you. they should be glad to help you for free.

AFAIK Bose dont make aftermarket components so I believe he was asking if the factory system was bose or not.

If the factory system was totally ripped out it's going to be tough to tell. If you can get in contact with the seller again asking him/her would be your best bet.

 

yea that is what i am asking if my car was a bose system before the aftermarket headunit was installed. i got the car from carmax. and i had already asked them and they don't even know. so i will probably take it to a shop and see if they can see.
