Default overheating problem

my 04 ls430 ul still overheats after i got the fans problem resolved. both fans are now spinning but the temp. still climbing up to hot. also my AC compressor would stop working when the car gets hot but work work during highway driving, temp would also go down once i drive at normal speed. what could be the problem? could it be my thermostat that causes the overheating? like i stated above my fans are working correctly. i need help. thanks

check your thermostat...That could be the problem.
Any leaks in the engine bay?

First thing I would suspect is the thermostat. Are you using the original radiator? Did you mix green & red coolant (can cause radiator sludging) or are you using OEM toyota coolant? Is it hot while moving 35+mph or just when you idle? (I would have suspected the fan clutches for this, but you say your fans are working correctly)
