im not close to rolling on those kinda specs but i'll try and help.with the help of a wheel offset calculator i came up with these numbers.compared to my specs, the fronts would come out an extra 34mm's and the rears would come out an extra 24mm's.heres a picture of my car slammed on "L" mode with the Datasystems controller.
visualize the wheel coming out 34mm more,about 1 1/4"
visualize the wheel coming out 24mm more, about 1"
so to answer your questions, yes you are gonna have to pull the hell out of you rear quarters or do custom flares.even the front, maybe a minor pull will work.oh and im not sure if standard disk can clear our front brakes.btw,do you mind sharing what wheels you looking at?they sound tasty!
is the larger the offset number the more fat (aggressive) or far the lip sticks out?? or is it the smaller the offset number the more aggressive and wide the lip would be??
anyways, here is my old setup:
20x9.5 +1 offset
20x11 +6 offset
in this pic, its stock fenders (no pull...no roll...no cut) on 225/35 fronts and 245/35 rears with about 4 degrees negative camber in the rear...and i think 1.5 neg camber front?
hey breangrower, I didn't know your wheels were the same size specs I was looking into besides the front, I wanna move it up to a 10. I know your running those expensive control arms for the negtaive camber but I'm just gonna go with the pull and radiused rear fenders since I got a hook up with a body shop and I don't wanna deal with early tire wear.
btw, how much did you spend on the custom arms?
thanks everyone for the help, It's hard to do some measuring and test fitting when I don't have the car yet. but as soon as I get her I'll be able to fit some nice 20's and UAS and hopefully the g-answer lip kit.
fronts should be no problem...the rears, u might be able to get away with a pull and radius and stretch tire. i think racinstylez went this route but he did a lil negative camber in the rear. u can ask him how he did it.
for the fronts, ur gonna get the same lip size from what i had, just wider rim (better chance of stretching tire even more) and about 0.35mm wider from the fender. becuz roads are really bad where i live, i didnt see the point in stretching the front w/ a smaller tire so 9.5" was good enuff.
would these work with stock fenders 20x9.5 +4 20x11 -3 in standard disk. im looking at the Work LS406
anything will work, it's just how much are you willing to spend to make them fit?
but to answer your question, you're definitely gna have to pull your fenders in the rear and take it to a body shop or get the custom control arms that beangrower has and a slight pull maybe in the back with stretched tires.
for me I'm not into the whole camber look. replacing tires every 3-4 months is gna be a ***** and it just looks like your suspension is broken. that's just me though.

i would like to see that. those were gonna be my next set o' wheels. however, the LS line costs a grip and i need to get a house. so yeah, i say do it. make'em fit.
btw: i wonder if the standard disk is gonna clear the stock ls430 front bbk?
