I really love the door closers too. It's amazing how much it changes the character of the car never having to slam the doors when you wish to be quiet. For me those, the dual-paned glass, and the separate rear-seat A/C alone make the UL worthwhile over sparser trims. However I think overall the CL is probably the "sweet spot".
I, too, love the door closers. That and the oscillating vents remind me what a special car this is. Now if I could just train the M-I-L to stop slamming the darn back doors. Where is the ejection button, again?
Sorry, that's only available on the LS460L. I think it's included when you opt for the executive package with the right rear seat with the raising footrest.
The door closers are not for girlymen... but they make you into a girlyman. I use to be able to close my RX300 doors properly, now I can only do it like 1/2 the time because I'm just waving at the things
does anyone know how many UL w/ PCS they sold? just curious bc i feel like i am the only one with it, ive never seen an ls430 exactly the same as mine. (south florida)

For sure, in front of the starbucks the other day I saw a guy using his soft door closers on his Bentley Continental GT, it looks so soft, quiet and classy. And I was thinking, wait....my Lexus have that feature!
Come to think of it, the Lexus LS is the only Japanese car that have the soft door closers. I can't afford a Bentley, but driving the best from Japan is not too bad at all!
