2 qustions.
was looking at t.s.b for 2004 ls430s. I found some. So I calles up lexus dealer,they asked me for the title#.They told me the fuel pump and something about the transmission had to replaced at their expense with a renter car. ANYBODY HAD SAME ISSUES?

2 question.
my vsc trac off and engine light came on. MY mech gave me these codes....
po446....po455 ...po44a ...po2418.....any body had similar issues???

The early production 2004 had two "recalls." The relay for fuel pump and transmission was "flash" I believe where it interferred with the car engaging "P" properly. I have a 2004 but it was not part of recall for either.

As for those codes, have you done a forum search? I'm sure they're common codes.

 

Here are the Euro recalls for the LS430. I believe they are the same like for the US spec LS430 except the VIN aplication.

Actually, the whole 6speed transmission unit was completely replaced by Lexus.

 

446 is your EVAP system and 445 is the gas tank cap. I had the same problem (didn't pull codes but the VSC light was on and engine light was on) - turns out my wife didn't fully seat the gas cap after gassing up. Re-seated the gas cap and all was well.

 

hey fellas ....I received a brand new transmision and fuel pump and something about a broken bell housing ground strap.
All done for free with a loaner provided.
Done at lexus of rockville center new york longisland.
Im very happy. My baby driving strong.

It doesnt matter on a recall. Cpo / warranty or not.
Just call up nearest lex dealaership, tell them about possible recall issues on your car......give them your vin#. They have recall list.
