do they handle the same????

does the 01 UL in sport suspension setting handles as well as a regular LS430 with sport package suspension set up????

I don't know specifically about the 01 but I recently drove an 04 UL in sport mode and then drove an 05 Sport and there was no comparison at all IMO. I bought the 05 because it reacted right away when I turned the wheel and it was tight. Not so with the UL.

HUGE differences in handling and ride.

The sport suspenion car handle A LOT better but ride a hair harsher then the UL in sport mode. Especially if the UL is stock height.

When the UL is lowered either by adjusting the rod or datasystem controller, it firms up quite a bit, but still don't handle as good as the sport.

In case you don't know, the sport suspension has a bigger rear sway bar and firmer A-arm bushings, on top of the firmer springs and struts. I think the firmer bushings has a lot to do with the harsher ride.
