Default LS430 emblems (debadged pic request)

Does anybody have any pics with the emblems on the trunk removed? I am thinking about filing the holes and removing the emblems

I had considered debadging, but once I found out there were positioning holes for the emblems, it was a no deal for me. I'm not going to fill the holes and then hope the shop does a good job of painting without "orange peeling" the paint job.

So, I went better, I rebadged instead and got a "Celsior" emblem and put that in place of the LS430. I've been asked so many times "what kind of Lexus is that?" and when it's a person I care to talk to, I tell them the name and where it came from. If it's someone I don't care to speak with I just say "I don't know, that's how I got it..." Believe me, there are some curious chicks out there that see the "L" and the name and they can't compute so they're curious... nothing scientific or anything, but mostly they're blonde...

Dag...

I see that you and SoPhilly seem to have gotten good jobs, although SoPhil's looks to be cleaner. I know he got it the hard way too, but messing up the rear chrome trim.

Back to the emblem, I'm a name person, I like named vehicles rather than numbers and unfortunately, all the Luxo have gone alpha/numeric. Guess they can't come up with good names. I still love Acura Legend.

Plus, nothing more than exCELSIOR !!!!

my wife is japanese and she always asks me why we don't 'name' our vehicles? everything is a letter or a number or a combination of the two on most of our vehicles. i prefer a named vehicle as well, but ultimately i prefer a de-badged vehicle and this ls is the first one i have not debadged in a long time on account of all the work that has to be done to it...
