I am getting a tail light error mesage but both tail lights are working fine any thoughts?

 

Do you have the oem tail lights or led ones?

 

turn signals maybe?

 

mess with them... i got them from when my parking lights are on....

my bro has same problem. i think ours is the license plate light.

 

I believe the only lights that the "light" checks are taillights, high mount center light, backup light, and license plate. The turn signals are monitors by the "blinkers" so if they're out, they will blink really fast, instead of slow and steady. Check all the lights with someone behind the vehicle to look through all the lights.

 

If you do have the LED tail lights (aftermarket) then did you install resistors?

If they are the stock oem tail lights, check all of the bulbs.
