01 ls430 nav problem

01 ls430 nav problem

I have an 01 ls430 and the location marker on the nav screen blink and dosent stay solid while moving, or stopped, just wondering is this is supposed to be like that or doi have a problem somewhere?

It is supposed to blink.

my 02 does not blink but I have seen another 01 in my shop and it was blinking. I didn't think it was normal

i've seen an 01 blink, and i'm not sure if all gen 2 navi's do this. (02-03 are gen 3).

dealer

i went to the dealer yesterday and they told me that the blinkin was due to the nav eu or somthing along those lines. at first they said that it just needed to be calibrated but it wasnt that. i mean its not really a big deal but its annoying and wanna see if there is anything to do about it besides pay dealer prices for the fix.
