Issues with Back up Camera
Back up camera on my 2005 LS (Modern Lux package) is givng problems. Back up camera would work some times and some times it wont. The screen remains on navigation. Sunshade would go down, the mirrors would tilt down, but there is no change on Nav unit.
Car has 55000 miles, bought it as CPO so it is under warranty. Dealership had it for 4 days. They installed new camera and computer. Yet it was not working. So they played with the wires and connectors and gave me the car on Friday. It was working. However, they could not diagnose the cause. They returned the vehicle with the comments that bring it back if it does not work.
It worked for one day and today it is bad again. I am planning to take it back to dealership on Monday again.
I would appreciate if some one can advise what can be the probable cause.

I could be wrong but since everything else is working right on reverse like sun shade going down etc.. it could just be the wire that is connected to your reverse lights. correct me if i am wrong just a guess

Thats what I thought. If there is something wrong with any other part, it should not work any time. But since it works about 50 % of the time. In my opinion it is a bad wire / connector. Dealership told me they checked every thing.
