I have a 2001 and a 2003 ls 430 I need to replace my taillights on both cars
I want to go with the clear taillights that are on ebay for $300. does anyone know which company sells th eones with the 2 resistors on each? I dont want to have th etail light eror code on the dash,any info or direction is greatly apreciated I have emailed the sellers on ebay but got no responce,

I'm going to email them to see if they have had any issues with certain lights not working that has been indicated in other threads on this subject. I'm interested in this also as it does give a cleaner and more updated look to the car.

 

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I would say most of the online stores now that offer the LED are offering with resistors built-in, so you get true plug-n-go without tripping the taillight out warning. I got a pair for my RX and they literally were installed in less than 20 min. from removal of old, to preping (cleaning the surrounding area before install) and installing new ones. The brake lights are LED, while the turn and reverse lights would typically use the originals bulbs.

As for quality though, I would say that they will fit fine, but the alignment a/o the edges will be slightly off. The whole casing and back treatment on the lenses were sort of "cheap" and hard plastic in feel. Thus far, over one year, no issue with mine, so I guess I can't really complain too much.

Like with any seller, just make sure seller has good rating, high positives, and describes the products in detail.

Damn, i just ordered mine from "racing_guys" (ebay). I'll let you guys know. Hope they provide two resistors...

 

I got mine from option, but they are all selling the same product.

I pretty positive that these recent imports all have total 4 resistors for the inner lamps attached to trunk so don't worry about the resistors. go for it.

it's the older batch that only came with two total which in turn was throwing off the tail lamp warning light.

I have these Fabulous tails. The difference is the Option Racing is LED and the Fab isn't. That's very inexpensive for those tails.

 

Hey all, just recieved my LED tail lights from racing_guys (ebay). Wow did they ever ship these FAST! I can confirm that they provide 2 resistors per side. Ok i'm off to install them now. Will have some befores and afters.
