You should make puddle lights for you LS400

To this day I still like your White one. Do you still have the L-sportline wheels?

I've thought about adding them to the mirrors, that's why I liked this thread.

Same config as the pic, lots of wheels I like but none I'm willing to drop coin on. Don't see the L Sportlines often, they are pretty ancient though. I've been getting UCF3X urges so I'm taking in the discussions.

YOU CAN DOOOO ITTT!!! Well, the mirrors that is.

I've had all the LS430 wheels on my old LS400 (17's and 18's) + those ancient L-sportline chromies, and I will tell you... with some spacers for the rear, those 18" LS430 5-spokes looked the best on it... as you can see, I've not changed my signature.

Yep the bulbs can be seen if you turn the park lights on when the car is off, and engage the parking brake, then crank the up you will see them. When the parking brake is engaged the DRL's won't turn on until you release the parking brake, however if the car is running and you engage the parking brake the DRL's will remain on. I changed mine out to amber LED's, here is how you do it...

Frist remove these covers (plastic clips pop right out)

Once you remove them you will see the bulb socket

Twist to unlock the bulb socket to remove

Sry, this might be a noob question.
Is there any way to change/replace this light bulb without having to disassemble the whole mirror?
Meaning, Can't I just pry the clear plastic cover from the bottom gently, and reach in for the bulb?
Any help is appreciated.

I prayed out the plastic cover out however its was a pita to put it back also . That being said once it was all done I did a final test to check if lights operate and it didn't . So I had to go to back n opened it up and now it' doesn't work, the LEDs I got from ddm, so I found the wires were strip from putting it in . I redid them and its funny that if I press unlock its shuts off and lock it turns on , if I put the stock back it wouldn't work , what could be the issue here , I might have to just pull the whole assembly out I believe . Lmk any ideas what could be happening tnx
