Glad you like the LED look, one of my fav mod is LED all the lights out. I have not done the blinkers yet, you need to swap out the relays or resistors due to the LED's not pulling enough pwr and making the car thinks the light is blown.

WOW, you guys have done a great job with this thread. I have three question:

1- I want to replace the bulb in my mirrors with the brightest LED's possible. Which one's should I get and where should I get them?

2- Does replacing the puddle bulbs in the doors and the dome lbulbs provide more light than the OEM bulbs?

3- Has anyone replaced their car's backup bulbs with LED's whose car is also equipped with the backup camera? If so, what difference did you notice?

I guess it's obvious from my questions the older I get the more light is an issue

This is what I wrote at the beginning of the thread and its still holds true. Cannot answer you question #3 as I have not done that mode.

"Ordered it from www.superbrightleds.com They are the WLED-WHP version for $4.95/each. They are the brightest ones to use. The WLED-X5 / X6 are ok but doesn't give enough lumen. ...
I also swapped out my 2 trunk bulbs with these WHP and it is super bright. It will be night and day difference than stock especially if you leave the diffuser plastic off."

The same WLED-WHP can be fitted on all 4 doors too.

I like my LED reverse and they put out enough light thru the back up cam for me. Here are some pics of mine in action.

I's sort of a pain in the *** actually. You have to take the carpet off to get access to them.

You can change the bulbs fairly easy if you don't have very large hands and arms.

Basically, there are the plastic screw you have to remove, then lift the liner up so you can reach in. Remember to twist to remove the bulb holder and to twist lock it back once you are done.

If your arms and hands are large and you can't slide it in, then you may need to remove the liner to get to it. I've played with different bulbs and the x6 would be the way to go. x4 is ok but a little bit dimmer.

Great post!
I have summarized all the options with the white bulb color in mind.
This is for silver exterior and black interior.

Some question below on choosing right bulbs.

Mirror: WLED-WHP - Qty 2
Door: WLED-WHP - Qty 4
Trunk: WLED-WHP - Qty 4
Reverse: 194 (wedge) or 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb - Qty 4
License Plate: WLED-X6 - Qty 2
Map Lights & Rear Map Lights: BA9-W4 LED's - Qty 4 (What voltage? Available for 6, 12 or 28 Volt AC/DC operation)
Dome:31mm festoon or 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb - Qty 1 (3022-x9 is 30 mm. Is this correct size?)

Here is the shopping cart at http://www.superbrightleds.com based on my assumptions.
Quantity Product Price Base Shipping Options Subtotal
2 WLED-x6 LED bulb $ 2.79 $ 0.00 Cool White WLED-CW6 0.95 $ 7.48
4 BA9s-W4 White LED bulb $ 2.98 $ 0.00 6 Volt AC or DC $ 11.92
10 WLED-xHP High Power LED bulb $ 4.95 $ 0.00 Pure White WLED-WHP $ 49.50
1 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb $ 2.95 $ 0.00 White 3022-W9 2.00 $ 4.95
4 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb $ 3.95 $ 0.00 Cool White 921-CW12 2.00 $ 23.80

Thanks you!

I didn't see a mention of glove box lights. Anyone know what can be used to replace them and how?
