Tee, you gotta show me how to get to the dome light. I tried but didn't want to scratch anything up. I couldn't budge the cover off. What's the trick?

I did the doors also with the WHP ones. The regular 5 or 6 LED are ok but the WHP really shine. Next would be the map and the dome for me

Airtime,

I used a small flat head screw driver on all eight clips located near the edge of the light cover. The platic clips that hold the cover in place are flexiable, so when you bend them they flex back to hold the cover in place. Start near the corner first on one side, then work your way around until the cover pops off or just pull it off. Use a samll screw driver b/c a big one will leave a preasure dent on the sides of the light housing, the plactic cover is hard plactic so don't worry about breaking it.

I picked up my dome & rear lights here.

The dome is very bright!!!

The maps and rears are not as bright as the dome.

Did you have to apply more adhesive to the mirror when you put it back on or did it stick just fine? I'm worried about the stickiness wearing out and the mirror falling off.

My thoughts are there are enough gooey stuff that it should hold. Also, the outer trim ring helps hold the mirror in place as you have to unclip it as show in the first couple of images. But I guess ultimately, you can squeeze off a couple of dollops of silicone on the back to insure it.

I finally found some brighter BA9 LED's to replace the not so bright ones, the new ones make great map lights and rear interior lights.

Not yet. I want to place an order for everything at the same time as for the exterior LED, I was ordering onesies twosies and get hit with shipping cost each time. Was thinking about swapping out the daylight running lights to LED too, though I kinda like the yellow as its more noticeable during the day. Dave.

Very nice writeup

Been thinking of doing the license plate bulbs on mine but haven't taken time to research bulb type and if there's a diy like this one (if even needed) yet.

I had some amber 194's focused LED's

left over from when i had the 4Runner, I used them to replaced the stock bulbs. I like the look so i left them in.

The licence plate LEDs (194) are easy to do, you will need to remove the trunk panel to get to them, it is easy to remove due to the snap screws on it. I can tell you will love the clean look over the stock ones.
