Default Headlight Bulb charge?

Wondering if anyone can help. One of my headlights (passenger side) was a diff. color. So assuming it was going bad. I went on ebay and bought the philips HID bulbs:

and so when I went to install it, the color was worse? It charged up blue like normal. Then started to turn white/yellowis (like other non-hid factory cars) headlights? Is that suppose to be the color of 4300k? Could this be a fuse? Any ideas what I could check on? Thanks in advance!

you changed both bulbs right? and the same results? the same side got dimmer/yellowish?

if so, try to swap the bulbs left and right (on both the new ones and the old ones) and see if you notice the same thing

if the same side still dims, then the ballast is dying

I will try that, do you know where I could get a new ballast if it is the problem? And for how much?

Fleabay. ~$100 each for the LS430 ballasts.
