Iphone and ls430
It 'should' be.. I have a buddy with one and when i get a chance, I will try to test it out for you. Hopefully sometime this weekend.
I am trying my best not to get an iphone, but damn they are awesome. I used to work at the 3rd largest mobile carrier in the US and it would more than double my monthly bill, not to mention I would have to use ATT.
Found this website

according to it the iphone is NOT listed. I believe the major gripe is the lack of phonebook transfer which is a device limitation, but it should work for calls

I've got an iPhone and a 2004 LS430. Works okay, but there are little quirks. For example, it does not send ringtones through the car's speakers like my Nokia E61 did. Also, I sometimes get feedback loops when doing some outgoing calls. Otherwise, it works well on the sound quality/consistency of connection fronts.
my iphone doesnt connects to the lexus all the time...i have to sit there and play with it...are there any setting i have do for the iphone automatically connect all the time??
Mine iphone work fine with my 2004 LS 430 Bluetooth, only issue I have is the iphone is sensitive to humans if too close to your body (ie.. in your pocket) the connection is full of static, and secondly I get a annoying tone when initiating a call, but its fine after that.

On your iphone, you should have successfully pair the iphone and your car together. Having it done once, all you have to do is to go to General in iphone and turn the blue tooth on. By doing so, iphone will always be automatically paired to the car when you turn on the ignition.
I have Audi Q7. My iphone can pair to such vehicle automatically. I also pair to the blue tooth headphone and many other devices. My wife has a Samsung blackjack, which does the same thing. We never turn our blue tooth on the phones off. Hope this help. I don't have LS, and I'm often on the ES300 forum.

hey guys...i figured out what the problem was....i had put a password on the phone when you unlock the keys which kept the phone hooking up with the handsfree system....now that removed the password the thing works like a charm!!...thanks for all the input guys!!

Big news! With iOS4 on my iPhone 3GS, the "static feedback" sound when placing a call has finally disappeared!
