quick question about my car that scared me today
i was merging onto the highway and i was at about 35mph wen i floor the pedal.. then it felt like my engine gave out and i was gna stall and i let go, but wen i gased it again it took off... Anything i should be worried about?

What was the time frame between hitting the gas and releasing to hit it again? Basically how much opportunity did you give it to decide its response of how many gears it was going to drop. As well did you hit the gas partially and floor it within the same 1-2 second period?

i felt the stall let go and maybe 5 seconds later gassed it and took off slowly didnt rlly floor it that time and right after it switched from 1st to 2nd i gassed it. also i noticed when i do give gas its a little late you only start to feel it about two seconds after its down
well...all our cars are drive by wire....there is a slight delay from when you press gas and when the throttle actually opens, this common among all drive by wire cars!! but your symptom seems a little odd....have it checked out!!

You sure it was 5 seconds or was it more like .5 seconds? Mine'll hesitate for maybe a half a second if I stomp on it due to the drive by wire. It kinda sucks but then it kicks in and GOES. But it can be very disconcerting.

no i gassed it and i felt it wanting to stall so i let the gas go, then waited 5 seconds later and pressed the gas again but lightly and it took off, dont know kinda scared me wen i gave gas and it wanted to stall... im going to have it looked at today
