Need to call 1-800-25LEXUS...
I need your help with verbiage because I am about to call 1-800-25LEXUS. My Ultra Luxury rear seat controls died today (in addition my warranty just expired 12-18-2007) I guess I can say my LS has been serviced by Lexus since day one, and as soon as the warranty expired, my rear seat controls died. I don’t feel it’s fair I have to pay 1k plus to repair this item? Do you think this is good enough?

I must say, Lexus customer service is still great! They will replace my rear seat controls for free . They told me to bring my car in next week and they will take care of it. I'm glad I made the call... Lexus

Wow, I was all prepared to say "You're ****ed," but amazingly you aren't. I shall place one more check mark in the "buy another Lexus" box because of this.
Curious, did you buy the car new or CPO from that particular dealer or was it a Lexus USA decision?

I bought this car from a independent dealer down south. It was Lexus Corp decision to fix the car I think... I think it's because I was own a Ultra Luxury LS430 IMO (Lexus top TOP of the Line Model)...

That is great to hear!! Not sure if I should *broadcast* but I will anyway. I complained (in a nice way) about the high price for navigation update. I received a $100.00 good will letter, making the cost a total of $115.00, including tax, for the latest version.

I got my CPO car (ls 430) almost three years ago. The dealer at the delivery screwed things up so bad I went ballistic on them. Got home and called Lexus corporate. They sent me a $250 service credit letter. Great company. Went out and bought my wife an ES330 7 months later.
