Post your opinons about each vehicle, i have an 02 and im in between a 05 LS430 and a A8, what are the pros and cons about each?
For looks, I really like the A8. A muscular looking machine and the quality is really high. The interior is tops, don't like the control **** interface but not as bad as the BMW. However, for overall, the LS would be a better car in the long run as the reliability of Audis are terrible. The old saying, "if it doesn't leak oil, its not an Audi"

i like the audi, but i have always REALLY loved the ls, and if you get a black on black ul ls with the chrome 5 spoke 18's and tint, the car is incredible

Very tough choice. My heart says Audi A8, but my brain says LS430. In your situation though I might take a chace on the A8 for a few years since you alreay have a 02 LS430.
A8 looks better inside & out, but the LS430 is probably the better car overall, tough choice though ...

If you want great road feel, great handling, and great looks and interior - go with the A8. I disagree with the Audi's leaking oil, but they don't have the reliability or the resale value of the LS.
The LS is a great luxury car with fantastic reliability. Lexus had a great resale value, but it has declined recently due to the incredible success - but now a lot of LS430's are on the market - the old demand supply equation.
Both are great cars. For me...if I wasn't going to keep the Audi beyond the extended warranty or CPO, and I was willing to gamble on resale, I would buy the Audi...if not the LS460

being an audi and lexus tech, i'll recommend the lexus. those A8's are always falling apart, and the fixes are never quick or cheap.
