clear taillight for 01-03

are these made in China or Taiwan? because I know there are 2 different manufacturers that make the regular clear tail light for 01-03 LS430, the cheaper ones are made in China with poor quality control, and the ones from big name Japanese VIP companies are made in Taiwan. Also do we need to put resistors on it? Will it throw "light out" code? Sorry for asking so much questions, but just want to make sure.
I already emailed them from past experience the "Light out" on the dash so we will find out, by the way your questions are excellent and helpful to members who are interested in these, nothing to be sorry about
Based on my previous experience with LED tail light for Audi, we put resistor on the tail light before putting it onto the car, but that's if the Lexus one will throw codes, if not, that's awesome. But if the manufacturer say it will throw code, it's still no biggy, just need to figure out which resistor is suitable for the light. Thanks for the work Steve, I can't wait to find out more informations.

i believe I bought my 96 toyota 4Runner supercharger from steve a long time ago...the TRD exhaust and accessories for my 05 4Runner and many supra parts as well

I'm sorry, thought I would have this information sooner, they gave me pricing on one set but I asked them for (10) so it would be better for CL members. So I'm waiting...........
