Default Dirvers seat and steering wheel return

Should the drivers seat on my base model 2001 ls430 position itself to make it easier to exit the car automatically, as my steerring wheel does when I turn the car off? The steering wheel moves up and towards the dash when I turn off the car but the drivers seat does not change position. It stays in the position I use when driving.

If the seat should be moving to allow easier exiting, then what do you think may need to be looked at or fixed and is it an easy and relatively inexpensive fix?

Thanks to all.
