LS430 Service Question
my 04' LS had a Red Triangle with ! mark inside... what does that mean?

it could mean anything really...like the sunroof is open, trunk is open...key not detected...etc......

It should say what is causing it. Perhaps you need maint.?

In my case, it's a "too sensitive" emergency brake detector - even if I just brush it with my foot - it thinks it's on - and I get the triangle with the exclamation mark. So I would check everything.

thanks everyone, it was just the low tire pressure... but I reset it, and it's coming back on after a few minutes later...

If you look, the display will tell you what's wrong. My cabin filter needed to be replaced and I got the same message. You will have to look fast to read the message on the display.

idle question
Different question, what RPM does you car idle at start up, my is above 1000 rpm... is this normal?

not at all mine idles below 500

when you just started up the car, it will hover around 1000rpm, but it will soon drop to below...and stay around the 500rpm mark .
