Default Maintenance Light

Maintenance Light on my 2004 LS430 is on. Is there anyway to reset it without going to the dealer?

I'd like to know too. Mine came on for the first time since owning, so I wasn't sure what it actually meant. Needed the oil changed, so had it reset, but forgot to ask if it's just for normal maintenance.

Its in the owners manual, something about holding the TRIP reset button (OR BOTH) for five seconds, then turning on the car, adn holding it. Im not entirely sure... but i know its in the manual.

For anyone else, I thougth I'd revive this thread. The way to turn it off is...

All doors closed turn the igntion to on and make sure that the display does not read trip A or trip B.

Turn the ignition off. Hold the reset button and tun to igntion to the "on" position and you will see the warning light come up and the display reading Mileage Reset.

Your mileage has been reset until another 5000 miles.
