Hi,

I have a smart key programing question for you. I read that I can program the smart key system to either open only the drivers door (default), either the left or right side doors, or all doors. I would like it to open all doors. Does anyone know how to make it do this?

I was originally told to hold down the unlock and trunk open buttons on the remote until it beeps, but nothing happens. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

Actually, its the LOCK, and trunk key.

 

I tried it and it worked, you just have to be INSIDE the car. \

Hold LOCK and TRUNK until you hear a beeping noise, then let go and try. You'll find that when you touch the door handle it will automatically unlock ALL the doors.

 

Yes it does work. I did this 3 weeks ago. I had to do a few attempts before succeed. For me, it only unlocks all doors with the hand motion but not with unlock button with the remote. I still have to press twice on the remote to unlock all doors which is fine with me since I use the hand to unlock doors 95% of the time. I also had a local shop set all doors to unlock on park and tilt steering from auto retract.
