Default 2002 LS430 - Eurotuned Suspension?

I was getting my car washed at my Lexus Dealer - Free Car Washes ever Saturday! YEAH! And I saw a brand spanking new 2002 LS430 on the lot, which is such a sweet car, I started drooling all over myself again.

I thinks this is the most beautiful full size sedan out there. This is the best sedan Japan can make.

I did notice that some of them had the EUROTUNED SUPSENSION at no extra cost. I guess this is a request you can put in at the time of ordering.

Does anyone here have this feature? Please advise if you have to special order it and does it really make a difference in such a large and cushy ride of a LS430.

Thanks!

I have the Euro Tuned Sports Suspension option which is an ~$80 option that upgrades your wheels/tires to 17" summer tires and changes the specs of the shocks/springs to allow less rebound and bounce for a sportier ride. Driving a non-Euro and a Euro back to back, you will notice how more responsive it is, especially in turns and such. It's still no S2000, but is decidely more agile than one believes for its size and heft. For some, it isn't enough (i'd say get the GS then), and others it is too much (get the UL package), but for me, it's just right combination of sportiness and luxury....

Agreed with your second statement, the LS430 is no-doubt a fabulous car, it's a piece of automotive art no-doubt. I would love to drive one. However I could never buy one b/c it is not pretty, to say the least(and I can't afford 60k plus yet ) . The regular rims look like hubcaps, which is in my opinion ridiculous. The "sporty" rims don't look much better either. The stock rims on my lowly 30 thousand dollar Nissan look about 300xs better. I hope along with the new option they upgrade the rims. By the way this is my first post, I like these forums, definately glad I ran into ClubLexus.com.

BTW, I wasn't trying to offend anyone, just conveying my opinion.

Dood, will you quit bashing LS? I mean I actually hate Maximas but I do not scream about it on every Nissan board out there. Have some respect for something that is out of the most peoples league.

Honestly tell me that I wasn't speaking the truth. Do you really think the LS is beautiful? I will say it again, the LS is a fabulous, world-class auto, one of the best luxo-sedans. It just doesn't look very good at all when you put it side by side with the competition.

ST430, do you have any photos to post? That is one great car you have there and I would go with the Euro Tuned version too.

We would love to see the photos! There is something so refined about the LS430 that it's classy, yet very powerful. You can not deny the Lexus V8.

Thanks again!

VQ, I'd have to say that the LS is not that distinctive in styling as compared to other, but check it out in person and you will think differently. There is something about this car, that is intriguing and very exciting, it may not be right for us young guys at this moment, since not that sporty, but like I have said before, it's high class and you just want one. I really like the new 2002 Front with the larger headlights. Again see it in person and you will see what I mean.

I have seen it in person, and like I said, fabulous, fabulous car. The interior is absolutely great. I just can't seem to like the styling. Maybe it's because the last LS looked so elegant and beautiful- I really liked that design, it held its own.

VQ - Understood, so 97 Maxima SE? Great car, but isn't it time for a change, what are you going to get next? Infinity I35, which is looking fine, but who drives an INFINITI these days? HA!

Step up to a Lexus GS430 and you will have a permanent smile on your face.

I also like the BMW 330 sedan or coupe with the Sports package for some reason. I need one of those on the side.

Here we go, I'm not good enough b/c I drive a lowly 28k Maxima. I wondered how long until I heard that....I would love to have a newer car, but I am a 19 year old college student, and I consider myself pretty lucky to have a car as nice as I do and in such nice condidtion at this age and time. It's no Lexus, but it sure holds it's own in my opinion. Oh, and when I graduate law school, don't worry I will "step up" to a very expensive BMW or Mercedes. I would buy a Lexus also, to have on the side.

Hey man, don't get all defensive, like I said the Maxima is a great car, I had a 96 Maxime SE and I loved it (expecially the bose audio system). As you move on in life, you just continue to upgrade to the next level car. Maxima's are reliable and quick, I miss mine a little.

So far my history in cars is
93 Ford Probe GT
96 Maxima SE
99 Acura TL
01 Lexus GS430
My SUV craving is taken care of already with my wife's 99 4Runner ltd.

Always have something to look forward or a goal in mind. Maximas are a great start for a college student!

VQPower - don't be a hater....if you want to be that way get the f@#$ outta here. BTW> If you dont know who I am or about my history with the Max, ask anyone on Maxima.org who ST is or better yet look up the origins of the website itself haha! BTW> The Max isn't the prettiest sight in the world itself, but then again that was never its trumping card. As for the history of my cars, hmmmm...got a book to read (no i'm not an old dweeb, but rather a mid 20's guy who loves cars) ?

- 84 Corolla LE
- 87 Sentra XE
- 89 Camry LE
- 92 Corolla LE
- 95 200SX SER
- 95 Maxima GXE
- 96 Maxima GXE

- 93 Supra TT
- 97 Supra TT
- 99 Accord V6 EX
- 00' Solara SE
- 00' Odyssey
- 01' S2000

LOL - bro' dude...quit while you're ahead. Do you honestly think the Max is the most tastefully done car ever? Hell no....even against its German or Japanese counterparts, it looks awfully quirky at times. But who cares, looks are subjective. I personally like the looks of the S Class probably the best followed by the LS and then the 7 series trailing far behind, but guess what i chose? And no I'm not talking out of my ****, since I ACTUALLY did buy one, unlike talk about it like a sucker....btw> how's the front end paint job holding up or the bump steer off the rear beam axle? Every car has its quirk, but i give everyone equal props to their ride....if you'd like to diss, have some credibility to your point instead of some subjective BS....
