Questions?
my LS430 has the Ultimate package....so it has the Navi and pretty much everything else. I just wanted to know if there were anything the usually goes wrong with the '01 LS430's?
You should be fine, I only have about 64,000 miles on my car, so to judge what will happen at close to 100,000 is hard. I can say this about you car and most Lexus /Toyota's , Acura/Honda's, with good care you won't have problems. No matter how many miles are on the car, as long as the owner before you did all the services on the car and you continue to also. These cars are some of the most reliable luxury cars out there if taken care of. I hope they did the 90,000 mile service for you before you purchased the car, I hear thats expensive. Other tahn that any issues will probably be just normal wear and tear, like replacing brakes and other items taht wear over time. All and all keep the oil chaged and belts and fluids correct and everything will be everything. (GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! WE MAKE MISTAKES THEN BLAME GOD. REMEMBER HE GAVE US FREE WILL!)

By Ultimate, you mean Ultra, correct?
Well, for starters, make sure the 90K service is proformed, its a good 1200+ at the dealer. Not sure how much for the 3gen LS's, but Im guessing its not going to be any cheaper then the 1UZ-FE engines.
They didn't perform the 90k service!
I bought the car with a 3 yr/36k mile warranty. I was reading the engine part of the warranty and it says it covers the Timing belt, if it was damaged? Does that even make sense?

yeah, that’s if you it breaks with 5K on the car. But if you don’t change it at 90K, and it breaks, it would be due to lack of maintenance, so I don’t think warranty would ever cover that. Kinda like changing your oil on time.
