Default Windshield wipers

I was wondering if the LS 430 was designed to adjust the height of the windshield wipers when they are at rest. In another car of mine, there were instructions on how to position the windshield wipers during winter months. The wipers would rest about 2 inches higher in order to easily defrost and breack ice away from them. However, this created additional drag and wind noise.

My Ls430 has noticable wind noise coming from this same area. Is the resting position adjustable simply by pushing them further down?

I can adjust mine on my 01 ES so I would assume you can on the LS.......I adjust them on the passenger side which adjusts both. It should explain what to do in your owners manual.
