Default Lincoln Keypad

So right! That really was keyless and I miss it. All these other systems are not keyless. You always have to have a key to unlock the car. Ok, so you don't have to put it in the key hole or with smart access take it out of your pocket.

I used to love to lock my Lincoln and then go jogging. I didn't have to bring my keys with me.

I also never locked my keys in a Lincoln.

I always wondered why no other manufacturer ever adopted the Ford system.

I agree with the backup camera opinions posted above, but I'll add that the backup dash display can be significantly affected by glare - as can the navigation screen, so extra caution is advised,.

As to the keyless remote sensor (Smart Access) that allows the vehicle to be approached, unlocked, and started without use of a traditional key - it works as advertised.
Regardless of how it appeared to you, the fact is that the Q45 had the backup camera in spring of 2001 as an '02 model. So, the plenty of others that followed stole the idea from Infiniti and incorporated it into their own models. Infiniti was the first to develop and implement the backup camera !

Read my post again carefully. I gave credit to the 2002 Q45 for being first with this feature and I was in no way critical of the car. If you feel the need to be so defensive of the Q, you might prefer the company of like-minded folks on an Infiniti forum.
