So I have this problem where my nav,climate control and radio don’t work and I found this wiring like this. can I connect a aftermarket amp and sub like the old owner did? Or how do I connect back to oem ? Any pin outs or diagrams? Let me know please and thank you !

 

Need year of car before anyone can help. Also maybe looks like rust on DVD unit so most likely water damage. None of that looks good.

 

it’s a 2001 Lexus ls430 and I’ve noticed there’s single din radio where the cd player went.

 

Does the nav screen even light up? Don't think it needs anything in trunk for the AC or Clock on screen

 

the screen turn on but says audio off and that about it i think climate control does say somethin but doesn’t fully Turn on or anything and the single din under that doesn’t get power or something cuz it doesn’t turn on

 

Take a picture of the whole front so we can see what has been replaced. Preliminary this is what I think happened. Water came in through taillight and damaged the dvd unit. To get audio back modifications were made in front and added a radio. What was taken out has to be there for the car to communicate properly and only way to get AC controls back is to replace what was taken out. Just a guess at this point but if you pull out the front part the main big connector plug might just be hanging there that has to be plugged into the radio unit.
