If a scanner causes the check VSC light to come on is there any way other than jumping the OBD2 port pins to reset the light? Not sure which scanner I have (Innova, Foxwell or VXDIAG) may be the cause (maybe all of them since I used them all before restarting the car) but it would be helpful to know of any other way to reset the Check VSC. I do notice the sport and abs lights blink when using the scanners.

 

I use techstream. As I have said this car is very sensitive to what is connected to the port and sometimes does it but not always the VSC problem.

 

Thanks... I haven't been able to get techstream working yet with the VXDIAG VCX Nano with techstream 18.00.008. I have a mini VCI cable coming which comes with techstream version 17/18 so hopefully that works. What year LS430 and version of techstream do you use? I have a 2003 LS430 UL and a 2004 ES330 and neither one would communicate with the VCX Nano and Techstream v18.

 

2001 and 17.20.013. I have used 14 up to 17 with no problems but make sure you use corporate selection. Also works on my 2020 ES300h. Never tried 18.

 

What region/area did you select when prompted... North America or Japan? VXDIAG said I should use Japan but there wasn't a model option for LS430.
