Any Saddle Interior owners?
Great Questions...
Initially I read many threads here. Some really good. None of the Youtube vids are 100% accurate, like which fuse to pull, ride height, etc. There's lots of info out there and I had to wade through it before I got it right. It was frustrating. BUT I'm glad I did it. I loved the original air ride suspension. In my case, it was time for a new suspension. The rear(s) blew out and I had a low rider. Slammed! Lost pressure driving down my street on my way home. It was scary weird driving 20 mph without a rear suspension. Felt like you could lose control at any second.
Called my mechanic and he said "Sorry, I only work on cars in my garage." and I didn't think spending $4-5K for a new air suspension was a smart choice on a car with 250K miles on it. So, I did the unthinkable and ordered "Air Spring to Coil Spring Conversion Kit Unity fits 01-06 Lexus LS430" off eBay. Unity is the US company name. I don't know where they are manufactured. Called my buddy. Jacked up the rear end. Unbolted way too much of the rear suspension in order to remove the old and install the coil-overs. My mechanic laughed and told me to bring it in to his shop and he'll go over everything. He tightened up a few bolts and the rears were done. My mechanic then installed the fronts. The ride is way way way better compared to the worn out air-ride. They initially ride too high after install and took a month or two for the ride height to settle in. Look and ride totally normal now. It's not pillow soft anymore but more control and no doubt safer too. Installed a year ago, still my daily driver and I no longer think about my suspension while driving.

CL edition, rare with rare interior, nearly spotless with 58k. I'd be shocked if this goes for less than $30k.

FWIW, the Crystal White/Saddle car for sale in the Seattle area (see post # 5 in this thread) was still on Craiglist a few days ago and the owner dropped the price to $ 18.5K if I remember right. Probably could get it for even less.
Also, coming from Hawaii, if a car hasn't been 100% garaged...forget it, brutal place with salt and trade winds always in the air. So some unknowns here.

@ytc377 , might be time to get out that checkbook:

Yeah, something amiss about that car....why so long? Rare, nice.....math isn't computing. I get the explanation but a UL with no Levinson audio/NAV?? I don't know, something is fishy. I don't shop cars I'm not going to buy, but I would assume some have and have walked away, hence the price reduction. Hmmmm.

I bought both my LS430's while I lived in the Seattle area and went out of state for both. It's just not a great market for those.
I have just recently been educated that the Hawaii spec claim is legitimate, so I'm not suspicious anymore.

So if he sells for 20k - 20k is 20k even on any site - so I hope he collects - it's still a nice ride.
I did look up the vin - or tired to - no free stuff anymore out there
Not much history - I didn't plug the vin into Lexus.

-- i would love to retrofit my 'typical' cashmere into the saddle on my crystal white 2006 ML. I am sure a lightly used complete interior is hard to find.
