New member here! Just wanted to introduce myself and share a bit about my car journey. I've been reading through the forums to expand my knowledge on the LS430.

I recently inherited a 2002 Lexus LS430 (second owner) after my dad passed away. It’s completely stock, and I’m working on bringing it back to top shape.

Completed Work:

✅ Replaced front rack and pinion
✅ Added ceramic window tint (clear on the windshield)
✅ Installed a new battery
✅ Had the leather interior professionally cleaned
✅ Polished headlights and installed HID bulbs

Upcoming Plans:

🔧 Replace engine mounts
🔧 Flush brake fluid
🔧 Install a GROM radio upgrade (thanks to the info I found here!) I do need to replace the screen as it is scratched and almost unreadable -
🔧 Diagnose why the factory Nav is not working - suspect that the DVD disk was removed as it was so old and out of date.
🔧 Diagnose VSC warning light that appeared after the battery replacement
🔧 Diagnose why the drivers seat feels lose and rocks when you move - suspect that a bolt holding the seat down is loose and needs to be tightened

I'm open to suggestions for other maintenance, fixes, or upgrades that would enhance the car’s longevity and driving experience. I would really appreciate links to places where I can buy OEM parts as much as possible or really good aftermarket parts . ( such as drivers inside door panel ) Let me know what you all recommend!

Need to add replacing the struts on the hood and trunk and the windshield wipers shortly

and

Diagnose why the trunk release on the remote no longer works since replacing the battery

 

Check in the gloves compartment the baton for the trunk.
