Default LS 430 needs land fill

My 04 LS 430 is getting too much trash in it and I need a trash basket. My wife keeps hanging plastic bags on the gear shift and I dont like that because I am afraid it might impede the operation if I suddenly have to change gears.
Is there someone that has found a solution for the lack of a garbage disposal site in the LS

My other half puts all her trash in the passenger door pocket. The noise of all that trash rattling about drives me nuts, so I inevitably end up cleaning it out for her.
Personally, I clear all of MY trash out of the car when I get out. My car is clean and tidy, hers looks like a landfill.
On longer trips I hang a plastic bag from the bracket I fitted that my phone holder attaches to on the passenger side of the centre console (see attached pics).

I am considering getting one of these though.

For both of your cars, the Celsior in Japan had an optional trash container accessory. You can find a few of these on ebay occasionally in the various interior colors. Right now they have beige and gray

And it looks like it fits on the LS 430 according to this post:

WOW, that so far beyond UGGGGGly that I am afraid it would singe the paint on the trunk lid (furthest part of the car from it) and to have to pay $85 for it is adding insult to injury!! I will stick with the plastic trash bags!!!!!

Mount a large PVC pipe through the center of the car, and through the trunk passthrough, then get one of those ram rods they use to load cannons so you can cannon ball load that sh-t into the trunk!

Boom, that was easy!

That reminds me of a story my boss, Col. Claude Pinson , used to tell about when he invented Chaff for protection against RADAR. Claude was a B25 pilot during the second world war. He installed a piece of metal stove pipe between the pilots seat and the co pilots seat and extended it thru the bottom of the aircraft. On bombing runs he would stuff pieces of aluminum foil down the tube and into the air stream. Did it work? Well he didnt get shot down and made it home every time. After the war he founded his company, Pinson Associates Inc., they manufactured Chaff for all the services. I worked there for 17 years.
Then again, about 10 years ago I purchased an antique motor home called a Travoy. It had a **** that you could pull on the dash to slowly empty the holding tank into the exhaust pipe just aft of the muffler. After that I never drove too closely behind a motor home....LOL I believe that design caused some new law to be written.

Huh.... That is actually a very interesting set of information there! Never knew there was a tank emptying system like that on older RVs!

This thing can be had for $4.99 if you look around on Ebay, Some stores sell it for $14.99 so search Ebay till you find the cheap one. They are all the same. Its cheap enough you can throw it away after the first trip..!!
It will hang on the back of the console where all three passengers can reach it. It will hang on the back of either front seat. It can be removed after your trip. It will hold ice and 4 cans of soda (but not at the same time as trash...LOL)
