The driver side front door on our 2006 has intermittent issues unlocking. It is not a soft close door. Any easy solution to this problem? Thanks

 

It probably needs the door lock module replaced. They fail pretty regularly. They aren't too difficult to replace

 

Very common issue, you have 2 options:

1. Difficulty - easy . replace the entire door lock module. Downside is the part is very expensive
2. Difficulty - much more involved. remove door lock module and replace the failing motor within. Very inexpensive, but time consuming. This is the route it went in 2019, and my door locks are still functioning using replacement motors bought from ebay.
