' 02 ML Speaker Install, No Sound - Did I Make a Mistake
Hey all,
I'm an electrical know-nothing, but somehow managed to successfully install new front speakers and a replacement sub in my '02 ML-equipped LS430.
Today I attempted to replace the back left door midrange, but got no sound. Looking back, I did not reconnect any of the door harnesses, only the one that goes into the speaker unit. When I got no sound, I put everything away in frustration and the door remains without a speaker at the moment. Also, I bypassed the (blown) factory tweeter. Would either or a combination of these two facts contribute to no sound output?
Thanks in advance.

How did you bypass the tweeter? The signal runs in series and goes to the tweeter first so if it’s simply unhooked it won’t allow signal to travel to the mid. I made some jumpers from solid core wire for mine.
