LS400 1998 throwing two error codes
Hello guys, i can't access my car with keyless entry and it never worked, when I try to unlock the door manually it works but sometimes the alarm goes off, please help me!
Hello,
This sounds very reminiscent of the issue I had a while back, here is a thread about it. The issue turned out being that the switch on the key tumbler fell off while stuck in the "Lock" position, causing the car to think that there was a key turned to lock the doors at all times. In your case, the system appears to ignore it for one reason or another, and without it, the car has no way of knowing whether the lock was unlocked with a key or through the broken window, triggering the alarm.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you very much my brother! I highly appreciate your assistance, I was actually thinking of changing the central lock on drivers door, assuming that it would fix the problem, but my case is slightly different than yoursz my remote never unlock or locked the car, though I tried programming my keys multiple times and took it to a remote entry specialist and still no go, am really thinking if I change my central lock passenger side that would solve the problem, what's your thoughts on that? Thanks man!
It's weird that I only now received notification about a reply, sorry for the delay.
From the code it appears that the issue is somewhere in the Driver's door, whether it is a switch described above, or just the actuator that failed, causing the system to go into a Fault Mode, is yet to be determined. In any case, it is likely worth taking the door panel off to see if there is anything out of place there, that's how I found my issue a year after getting the car.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
