Default Can anyone identify these wires?

Hello everyone, I opened my hood today and found these wires shredded, they’re on the drivers side connected to the master cylinder it seems, drivability doesn’t seem to have been affected by this, can anyone identify these? 1998 Lexus LS400

Don't know what they do, maybe ABS or lights. But you have a rodent problem.

that makes sense because my ABS light is on but the car isn’t throwing any abs codes, I’ll rewire these lines and report on what that does

Them darn mice, hopefully that's the only wires they got to. Do you have an aftermarket alarm, speakers, or something like that that isn't working? I ask cuz that wire grommet doesn't look stock to me. You'd think it would be sealed up if Lexus put it in. I would open up the wire loom and trace where those green wires go. If you're gonna fix it up you need new wire anyway. You'd have to know where they go before just hooking them up together seeing how they're all the same color. Oooo I hate electrical. GL.

gentlemen, I retired those wires and it turns out they’re for various brake sensors, like the ones that indicate if your brakes are low or need to be replaced, I know because when I finished I got a brake wear warning light on startup, hope this helps

it's OE, i recall using that hole to run my power wire (used the same loom) for my air suspension. looks like the mouse ate the insulation as well!
